Silverburn to welcome new independent restaurant

Silverburn to welcome new independent restaurant

Independent Ayrshire-based restaurant group, Kitchen 77 will debut its latest concept, Stàilinn Scottish Kitchen at Silverburn this spring.

Kitchen 77 owner Chris Steele already operates four venues in Ayrshire including Arthur Street Kitchen, Hollybush Inn, Stage Door Café and Drunken Coo Steakhoose – making Stàilinn his first city venue.

Like all of its Ayrshire counterparts, Stàilinn Scottish Kitchen will boast high-quality, locally sourced produce, and will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in the finest home-cooked Scottish style. The family friendly restaurant, which comes hot on the heels of The Real Greek opening in Silverburn in March, will be located above Heavenly Desserts with an external entrance from the red car park.

Chris Steele, Owner and Head Chef at Kitchen 77, said: “We’ve built a strong reputation across Ayrshire but with big ambitions for further growth, it’s a really exciting time to open in Glasgow. The countdown is on to opening day in just a matter of weeks with the final preparations ongoing. We truly can’t wait to welcome our first guests of new and familiar faces to our brand new restaurant concept.”

David Pierotti, General Manager of Silverburn, commented: “Glasgow has an enviable dining scene and our diverse offering provides opportunity for international and independent brands all under one roof. Over the past five months alone we’ve welcomed two new restaurants to our Winter Garden with Döner Shack and The Real Greek. We look forward to launching Stàilinn at Silverburn and providing our guests with even more choice during their visit.”

Stàilinn Scottish Kitchen is recruiting at Silverburn for limited vacancies including chefs, for more information visit, Indeed, @StailinnSK on Facebook or contact kitchen77ltd@yahoo.com.
